What do you do when someone destroy a valuable book?
I lent a book to a teacher and she tore out a page I wanted to make some craft from and said she didn’t do it, what do you do. The book is not replaceable. It was a collectable.
I’m not a junior high student, I’m a college student. I lent the book to her only. Even if she didn’t tore the page out herself, she was responsible for the book. I did ask very nicely what happened to the page and she denied that the page even existed, then said she didn’t tore any pages out and I couldn’t prove she did. I very prolitely ask her to look for the page in her papers and return it. She said she didn’t have to because she didn’t tore out any pages. I never tore a page out of any book, because of the way I feel about books. I grew up having pages torn out of book so I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the others in the class, so I have a deep appreciation for all books.
